NRW

• To use regional untapped potential the project EQUAL was set up to mobilize migrants, elder employees and help them to get back to jobs
• To gain women into engineering the project MINT-Frauen in OWL initiated internships, mentoring programs for young women (already during the education and study time) to introduce them to the occupation area
• As studies show, that the working place seems to be one of the main attracting factors for high-skilled, Employer Branding is a measurement playing a role especially for SMEs
• To attract high-skilled workers from outside, not only an attractive living place is decisive, but also an open, tolerant and diverse regional Welcoming Culture
• To attract students for the region, field trips around the university campus are organised and a testing time, in which the future students can use e.g. laboratories
